My name is Julie Daniluk.
I’m the founder of Julie Daniluk Consulting Inc.
Award-winning author of Meals That Heal, Hot Detox, and Becoming Sugar-Free.
And your right-hand woman as you embark on the next steps of your health journey.
And if we are going to fancy,
I’ve been a certified nutritionist for over 23 years now,
Hosted my own TV show that aired worldwide,
Been the nutrition expert for The Marilyn Denis Show on CTV for over 16 years.
And free dived to 86 feet on one breath in shark-infested waters.
Alright, maybe not “shark-infested” waters, but there we definitely a few sharks involved.

Well here goes… (*dun dun duuuuun!)
Well, it all started on a trip around the world in an island paradise.
I got terrible food poisoning with a fever of 105 degrees.
The infection ravaged the lining of my gut, and it left me with colitis and chronic pain.
My muscles became sore,
My joints and stomach ached,
And I felt like a 30-year-old living in a 60-year-old body. (Fun, right?)
It actually gets worse...
I was no longer able to digest dairy, wheat, corn, peanuts, or even salad.
Many of the foods that we all take for granted.
After yet another bout of sickness.
There was again, my knees on the cold tile of the bathroom floor.
My head in my husband's hands, he asked me:
“Julie, what's it gonna take for you to turn this all around… to really heal?”
And in that moment I've vowed…
I’ll do anything.
I set off to explore every food theory available to me,
Macrobiotic, Raw, Paleo, Chinese wisdom, Ayurvedic remedies.
There were so many conflicting options.
Do you know what I discovered?
That there's not ONE path to healing.
There are 7 billion diets for 7 billion people.
And you have to discover what works in your body.
And with this insight, I made it my mission to make every single meal a chance to heal.
(Partly the reason why I called my first book, Meals That Heal Inflammation, but back to the story)
I rebuilt and repaired the lining of my digestive system.
I learned to eat like my life depended on it because it does.
You can crave healthy food.
Now, I honestly crave a bowl of blueberries over a piece of chocolate cake.
I received thousands of emails from people who now are pain-free because they embrace an anti-inflammatory live-it.
My life's pursuit is that people embrace a LIVE-it versus a diet.
And enjoy so many outrageously delicious foods that they fall in love with the feeling of juicy vitality.

I deeply appreciate the path that I've taken.
By struggling out of my own cocoon of illness, I have found wings that I never conceived possible.
Every day that I choose a healthy option is one in which I can feel greater clarity, vitality, energy, and happiness.
