As versatile as the little black dress, this bean dip can be used as a spread, a dip or served on crackers as a vegetarian substitution for a classic pate. Another benefit of this recipe is that sunflower seeds are high in zinc, which is needed to create testosterone. A boost in testosterone can increase sexual desire in both men and women.
Ingredients:
14 oz can black beans
1 cup sunflower seeds
1/4 cup red wine vinegar or lemon juice
1/2 tsp unrefined sea salt
1/4 cup apple cider or 1/4 cup water with 5 drops monk fruit liquid or 1 tsp honey
Garnish: Cilantro or Parsley
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients into a food processor fitted with the S-blade.
2. Process until smooth, stopping and mixing occasionally to ensure consistency.
3. Garnish and serve on your favourite cracker or with chopped vegetables.
