Crispy Baked Sweet Potato Fries

Do you agree that there is something about Crispy Baked Sweet Potato Fries that just says summer?
Make these up in the oven ahead of your next summer BBQ and then warm them up in a pan on the grill. This recipe was a huge crowd-pleaser from my summer segment on The Marilyn Denis Show on CTV. Enjoy!
8 cups sweet potatoes (about 3 large or 4 medium)
1/3 cup coconut oil, melted
1 tsp pink rock or grey sea salt
spice choice turmeric, ginger, thyme, garlic powder
1. Preheat oven to 450º F.
2. Cut sweet potatoes into 1/2 inch slices (julienned) to resemble the usual French fry shape. You don't have to peel the sweet potatoes, just wash and clean them from any dirt, holes and bumps.
3. In a large bowl, combine sweet potatoes, oil, flour, salt, and spice, and toss until well coated.
4. In a single layer, spread sweet potatoes on the cookie sheet without overcrowding. Bake until cooked and crisp, about 30 minutes.
Serve hot! This recipe makes 8 servings.
